Front Suspension.

Unread post by Apurpleproblem »

I have a DS 3, Facelift model, recently went to buy a front shock for the vehicle but found the item to have the wrong diameter where it fits into the backside of the Hub.

With further delving into this I’ve discovered that there is a 47mm and 51mm diameters available where it’s clamped into place at the lower end.

Does anyone knew the specific of what car takes what part, manufacture yet etc..

Thanks.

You could measure the one on your car, otherwise use your vin at the dealers so they can look in the parts diagrams. It is normal to replace both shock absorbers so they are a matched pair across the front or back.

It is also getting "normal" for Citroen dealers to NOT look things up for "normal" customers.....

You need to read this topic and check if you need the front air bags replacing, if so you are advised not to use your car by Citroen/DS
