DS3 2015 - Battery Replacement

Hi everyone! 😄

Nice to meet you all — I’m new to the forum.

I’m planning to replace the battery (AGM Start/Stop) on my 2015 Citroen DS3 PureTech 110 myself, but I’m a bit unsure whether battery registration or reprogramming is actually necessary for this model.

If I skip the registration step, will it have a serious impact on the lifespan or performance of the new battery? I’ve searched online but haven’t been able to find a clear answer.

Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated!

If you fit the same type and rating of battery as is already fitted then there should be no problem. The only wrinkle might be is if a previous owner has fitted a lesser rated battery.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.
