peugeot 307 power steering fault.

Intermittent failure / partial failure of the power steering which resets via the ign sw, all fuses checked , fluid changed , the garage has fitted a recon motor/ pump but the problem persists. Has any one had a similar problem I've run out of ideas and so has the garage.

Have you checked if the battery is fully charged ?

Hi Paul, yes there is a new battery and I am getting 14.3v from the alternator, however I feel that the fault is an electrical problem affecting the ECU.
I need to know how the inputs to the ECU perform ie built in systems interface , ABS , and the ignition sw supply. and how they control the motor starting sequence.
