I bought a C3 FEEL 1.0 in Brazil and I'm looking for information on this subject, but I haven't found anything.
Well, the C3 has an internal button that locks/unlocks the doors, but it only works with the key in the ignition. If I'm outside the car and unlock the doors by pressing the unlock button on the key, when I open the door, go inside the car and close the door, I press this internal button on the dashboard to lock the doors, but it stays off, disabled, inactive.
It just doesn't work.
So, to lock the doors quickly after getting into the car, I need to press the lock button on the key.
I had a KWID INTENSE 2020 and this door unlock button on the dashboard would turn on the LED and become enabled when I pressed the door unlock button on the key before getting into the car, and I could press it after getting into the car, locking the doors.
I would like to know if this same door unlock button on the C3 dashboard can be programmed to work in the same way as the KWID if I use a scanner connected to the OBD2 port, accessing the car's control module.
Sorry for my bad English but the Google translate help me with that.
I appreciate any help.
Thank you so much.
About the internal button that lock/unlock the doors.

If it's like our C4 the doors lock automatically after driving about 100m.robra wrote: 12 Apr 2025, 22:45 I bought a C3 FEEL 1.0 in Brazil and I'm looking for information on this subject, but I haven't found anything.

The button you are talking about allows the driver to unlock doors if still in car with engine running.

Re: About the internal button that lock/unlock the doors.
My daughter has had 3 C3s with variations on that. The first two would automatically lock after a short drive and could also be unlocked/locked with the button. The same button on the second one would also activate the child locks on the back doors.Vic Evans wrote: 13 Apr 2025, 13:37 If it's like our C4 the doors lock automatically after driving about 100m.

Haven't taken any notice with the current one though.

Re: About the internal button that lock/unlock the doors.
Thank you for the answers, but the problem is that as soon as I get into the car, the button to lock the doors remains with the LED off and it deactivates, that is, if I press it, the doors do not lock.
To lock the doors as soon as I get into the car, I have to press the "lock" button on the key that starts the car.
This button should remain activated and functional to lock the doors after they are unlocked with the car key and the door is opened.
In Brazil, this is a security issue, preventing someone from getting into the car before starting it and driving it.
That is why I would like to know if the functionality of this button can be changed using a scanner on the OBD2 port and programming it in the car's module.
