I'm not into bikes but

Unread post by Gibbo2286 »

My neighbours grandson arrived on this today, looks and sounds like a nice machine.

Ah yes, 'tis the weather for.....

"Movin' on the Queens'* highway
Lookin' like a streak of lightnin' "
:-D

*- a little outdated now

A few years ago I had mine parked on the driveway as I was cleaning it. A mum and her very young child were admiring it and she asked if he could sit on it as he loved them. I plonked him on it and he was all smiles until I offered to turn the engine on..... then panic set in on him

I had one. Bought it 3 years old with 52 miles on it off a mate. Sold it in 2005 before moving to France. Ballistic sofa.

That would be a Honda CBR1100XX , otherwise known as a Blackbird. Lovely bike. One may find it's way to me soon to complement my ZZR-1100. The ZZR-1100 was the fastest production motorcycle you could buy in the nineties, until the Blackbird came along.

I'll bring my slightly (1997) older ZZR-1100 along to the next lunch meet. Bring a helmet, take it for a spin..

That'll be great Mike :D Be lovely to se you and the bike! And as for riding it, no way. I've not ridden a big bike since 1990 and would likely be an ex-CitroJim if I tried now!!!
