Peugeot 206+

Unread post by kr-406 »

Hi all, I have to find an intermittent electronics fault, where suddenly all warnings go off. After switching off and waiting about 10min, everything returns to normal (for days/weeks).
I've checked ground points, battery, fuses and connectors on ECU, BSM, BSI and ABS with no success.
The ESP / ABS Diagram in this thread viewtopic.php?t=84455 seems to match my car.
However I wonder where to find component "78A1"?

Never mind, I found it! 78A1 is a dual relay, bolted to the firewall behind the engine. Omron 240107, fully sealed, but I cut it open anyway. Both diodes on 2 and 14 were open. I replaced them, put all together with hot glue and tape and the car is back on the road again :-D
Many thanks to Marc for the wiring diagram!
