Cambelt kit inc w/pump

Hi I got a Peugeot 307 2.0 hdi 90hp 2004 how long do you get to change the cambelt inc w/pump

If Peugeot parts are already on the car from the last replacements, the replacement frequency is often 10 years or a mileage if sooner than 10 years which can be about 100k miles. If the parts are not Peugeot ones then the frequency can be different.

Don't ever trust manufacture recommendations if in doubt replace it cambelt have also been know to let go even on new cars leaving forecourt. I questioned peugeot about length of time before changing belt and I said to them would you seriously leave a belt 10 years before changing and they couldn't comment 🤣

Yeah, 10 years is a big nono for me. I rather change it by 6-7 years max or around 100k kms (62t miles). But I am not going for manufacturer's kit. I usually go by Contitech or SKF.
