Eolys Fluid Replacement

Unread post by ne8ryan »

Hey guys, previously posted about a P Level Low warning on my dash in my DS3, took it to a local garage and they informed me a main dealer has to service this part as he cannot get a hold of a replacement pouch,
any advice or should I just take it to the main dealer and pay the double the cost?

Also, already drove approximetaly 18 miles since the warning was shown however, do you think it will be safe to drive approximetely 315 miles combined if I cannot get it booked in before Monday as I need to go to a specialised hospital on Monday and it'll be detrimental to cancel the long awaited appointment, also will need to refuel again, would it be safe to do this?

Thanks.

Yes, as previously posted, it will be fine - probably for another 10,000 miles yet!

The bags were only only on early cars, post the VIN and we can check if it's a bag or refillable tank. Taking it to the dealer will be v expensive for this operation!

Hey Richard, that's excellent to hear.
I believe it's a pouch based system however,
VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

I got quoted £120 to diagnose (check which fluid it takes) and additional £160 for the repair, which is crazy.
Also just found out that the vehicle has a recall for its airbags and any main dealer won't look at it until the safety recall has been amended.

@ne8ryan: You should be aware that your vehicle does indeed have an urgent aftersales campaign outstanding for airbag replacement since January 2025, so I suggest you book it in ASAP as these were part of the Takata Airbag fiasco - it's ref NQ3 and the work will be free of charge.

As for the Additive you require Powerflex additive and it is a pouch-based system.

Hey mate, where would be the best place to purchase this additive, I am based in the UK.
Also pencilled in at April to replace airbags.

I can recommend Neo Brothers for buying Eolys fluid additive (and replacement tanks).
They have their own website https://www.neobrothers.co.uk/car-parts ... tive-pouch, but also have an ebay store https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/neobrothersltd

@Givemeabreak: "Takata Airbag fiasco" aren't you a Citroen guy as in Tech or something like that, so you are getting these Takata bags as well, we are, well have been doing the Audi's not as many as we thought we would do, we had a flurry of them at first now the odd one, I don't believe we have got through all the Audis in the area that are affected but they have certainly slowed down, but the really odd thing is no VW's, Skoda's or Seat's yet, not a single one, not even a warning of a campaign coming up yet.
If they are fitted to Audi then it goes without saying they will be to the other 3 as well, yet nothing as of yet.
You would of thought they would be wanting to move on with them.

Good to know that eolys isn't that critical. Was watchhing one of O'Reily's vids where he deleted his sisters pouch to fix pesky antipollution warnings ;)

Thanks mate, went for your suggestion and got this;
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283619009264 ... EKDYHV24RG

Only struggle now is finding someone that will be able to reset it.
Appreciate it

I absolutely love O'Reilys videos, I'm addicted to his DPF cleaning videos.

Have a look at the Lexia location thread and you might find a forum member nearby you who’ll offer to help do that.
