Hi guys.
I recently bought a used Peugeot 3008 (2011) with the xenon lights from factory. From what I read in the handbook, it has DRL, using the same bulbs as the presence/minimum lights. The issue is that they only work at night (or when I cover the light sensor in the shield) or if I take the switch out of the AUTO/0 position. I checked the settings in the inboard computer and there's nothing about DRL. Only some settings to activate following lights for some seconds after turning the car off. So, how can I have always running DRL?
VIN: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Thanks.

If it has the DRL function then there should be a setting in the radio menu somewhere to turn them on. The bulbs are dual filament I think - have you checked they are OK? I fitted mine (late 2013 Mk 1) with LEDS so the colour was closer to the head lights, but one of them started flickering on the DRL setting so they are currently turned off.

yes, the bulbs in there are P21-5W, double filament. I can't find any option in the radio regarding DLR. Only settings regarding directional front lights and presence lights (to set the time they stay on after turning off the vehicle).
The handbook says that the DLR is always on in the countries that it is mandatory. Maybe it was already mandatory in my country at the time the vehicle was made. So, I don't understand why the lights are not on.

It might be the other way around - they may not have been required, so are not enabled in the BSI - you would need a diagnostic tool to check this.

As Richard says, there is (for most countries) an item in the radio configuration menu to control the operation of the DRL. The presence of that menu is however controlled by another menu which is set in Diagbox, the dealer configuration software. If could be that this is disabled in your car. It needs to be checked.

Checked mine earlier, the DRL option is on the same screen as the follow me home lights option.

That option is not present. Can I enable it with Diagbox? Or is this something that only Peugeot can do?
The fuse for the DRL is present, the manual mentions the DRL feature, but the option is not available in the onboard computer.

It's a setting in the BSI to enable the menu, but be careful, because there are multiple options to be set for the light combo and Country in the BSI,. depending on the equipment.
