Hi all.. hope everyone is well?
New to the forum but joined for some desperate advice on a 2020 Peugeot 2.0 hdi expert van in the U.K.
Injector fault P3035 Programming of the diesel injectors. Driving conditions not suitable for resetting the diesel injectors. and P1163 Programming of the diesel injectors. Failure of the diesel injectors programming operations.
Engine and spanner light is on the dash, also on the infotainment screen. Driving fine and one day the engine light comes on. Initially interrogated and it was the fault P1163 as above. No rough running or starting, however idle is now constant at 1200 rpm, I would imagine indicating a fault with the fuel system?
Drove now to reduce fuel as the only thing different was the fuel station used. Now it is obvious its most likely that. Ran it down to a quarter tank, but we are still in the same position with the high idling. Not yet plugged back into the van at this point to read the fault codes.
Stripped fuel filter, cleaned, inspected and small bronze particles in the bottom if I'm honest. Not littered but in there.
Put in some injector cleaner, topped up with premium fuel and ran the van. Same scenario engine light will clear but immediately after starting come back on. Read the faults again and now we get the initial P1163 and now P3035.
Long shot but putting the injector cleaner and fresh fuel I'm hoping the system is calling for a dynamic injector learn and hopefully we can get it to reset?!
Failing this where do you go with the system most likely being contaminated, is it a whole system issue now? Not sure if anyone had had this?
Thanks in advance

Could the fuel pump be breaking down ?
Husky.
Thinking outside of the box is better than sitting in a dark one.
