C5 Aircross PHEV GEARBOX Anoying

Unread post by Flashnc »

Good morning, I have a C5 AirC PHEV 180Cv from this year, and I'm a little disappointed with it for this reason and I would ask for help if I can. The automatic gearbox behaves irritatingly, especially if the engine is running and not in EV mode, whenever I'm about to stop at an intersection, for example, I feel some hiccups or jerks, which is when it reduces from 3rd gear to 2nd gear, etc.. and Even when accelerating it changes very quickly, being aggressive and not at all smooth. The other one, which has a 1.2 136CV hybrid, is by far smoother. I'm starting to get tired of this constant and uncertain discomfort. Being an 8speed gearbox it should be something smooth and not out of control... Does anyone think this? Thanks for the help

Hi

Did you ever resolve this problem, I came across another forum somewhere with somebody with a similar problem and the dealership seemed to waver between admitting there was a fault or not and not resolving it.

By the way, a random question. When the car is in regenerative braking mode, does a fair bit go back to charging the battery?

And..... is it possible to go on a long trip in ICE only mode with no battery and recharge the battery through regen? I'm thinking if i drove 200 miles on a motorway with an empty battery at the start could i then have a part charged battery for city traffic at the end?
