Van wouldn’t start , nox sensor gone

My 67 plate van break down, it not starting at all, haven’t had any problems with fuel but nox sensor needs replacing and the Bsi has came up on diagnostic

NOX sensor won't cause it to stop - it can prevent it from starting if you have the emissions count down going on. You've going to need to give more details... what engine? Does it crank? Does it sound Normal? What fault codes are you getting?

1.6 Adblue engine , yeah it’s sound normal, Bsi unit failure to communicate, u1218 codep2200 also has well

Sounds normal it does crank over, code u1218 and p2200. BSI in failure ing to communicate aswell , on diagnosis the box sensor did failing to communicate aswell, could this have shut down to stop any more damage?

Pop the oil filler cap off and have a look at the camshaft while it it cranked - is the cam going round? These are prone to early failure of the cambelt....

Check the battery voltage in case it has failed.
