Hi folks - newbie here. Just purchased a 2013 picasso c3 1.6 HDI 90 and still trying to get round it. I had to get a new battery and the positive terminal was so corroded I decided to get a new lead as the spring clip was also broken.
(1) What is the slide off component on top of the battery box?
(2) How do I get it apart to fix that end of the new cable.
Any help would be much appreciated as I don't want to start forcing things and do more damage. Apart from that my only issue is the dreaded door lock problem (so far).
C3 Picasso positive terminal lead replacement.

Re: C3 Picasso positive terminal lead replacement.
Now sorted. I hadn't spotted the hinged access flap on the top of the unit. Should've gone to Specsavers.
