Bit of a quandary
My X7 has just done 2300 miles and the autobox has behaved impeccably. The car has 160,000 miles and no evidence of any work done on the box in the (pretty complete) service history.
So I'm torn between doing a partial change or just leaving it alone. Could a partial change introduce any problems that are not there at the moment?
If I do a partial change do I reset the counter with Diagbox?
What would you do?

That's a long time if on the original oil. Personally, I would give it a complete change - which if you follow the video is the best way.
See my post here with the video to watch:

The same grade also applies as you have a Euro 4 vehicle, so JWS 3309.
Yes you absolutely must reset the oil counter, as this determines gearbox operation and takes into consideration the ageing oil.

I did this a month ago, and my car was around 200000 Km.
I followed the video of the Volvo car.
Greetings,
Kees.
