Clacking noise from dash

I have a C4 2008 Picasso, when starting the car a clanking sound comes from the dash, sounds like the auto brake trying to disengage, it goes away after about 5 clanking noises, sounds like something tapping in the dash, could it be the auto parking disengaging

More likely to be a broken flap or motor on the heater trying to move something.

OK I will try turning off the fan and heat and check for any noise
