p**s Poor Performance

I've just bought a Clio Dynamique 1.4 16V from new, its done 2000 miles now and the performance is pathetic, unless you rag the spuds of it to the red line, then it goes a bit. Is there something wrong with this car? its got no guts whatsoever.

1.4 eh up with the big boys now. Only joking! But its not the fastest in the world. Mind saying that the wife 1.6 16v Megane goes like a pocket rocket. May be wise getting the dealer to check fault codes and/or any other elcetrical items in case of something going into standby mode.
