Berlingo M Petrol

Unread post by Pat1 »

Hi,
I'm looking to buy a brand new Berlingo M MPV Petrol version.
First of all are there any owners out there with advice or anecdotes good or bad?

Secondly I'm just outside west London but I can't find any dealership that has a petrol version to drive or look at. All the dealerships seem to want to push is electric versions. Does anyone know or can recommend a dealership in Surrey, Sussex or Hampshire that nay be better? Trying to call the numbers on the website I seem to end up in a central call centre - they book an appointment and then the dealership phones to tell me they don't have one!

Any help or recommendations on the above would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards
Patrick

Hi Patrick

The issue is the ridiculously stupid government 20% EV targets that they are imposing on car manufacturers, so to avoid fines, they are DELIBERATELY withholding Petrol / Diesel orders until the new measurement period. My sister has been waiting nearly 7 months for her new Petrol Berlingo, which arrived last week! You'll likely find the same situation as they tend to share stock and move this about the country as needed, but shortages of ICE models are likely being held back.

It won't work, people aren't that stupid, but it does mean longer waits.

Many thanks
Still thinking about the Berlingo - it's between this and a sportswagon with a seven year warranty - I really can't decide!

For a base Berlingo I'm looking at £19777, is that a good price or should I press harder?
