I have rt3-evo

The HDD it's good no bad sectors.
I tried last time ever full format.

The problem it's the car navigation request at 2-3 days to reinsert cd software.
Some time the screen stay turned black, like a dead navigation

This in not an RT3, it's an RT4, so I've moved it into a separate topic from the RT3 Forum as it is a totally different system.

Don't use the wrong version or you can brick the head unit.

Post up your VIN and I'll confirm what you have. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

Regarding invalid configuration, maibe it's incorrectly coded the car options

Yes, this is still termed RT4 for all intents and purposes as you can see...

The last and latest version of the software is 8.31. Do not use anything else from RT3!

i think i flashed aleardy this version moe than 9 times/ after some days, navigation throw error , random black screen , insert software cd, and every time when i puth the key in contact = the message regarding invalid configuration.

Have you used any other version prior to 8.31 in the past?

I think I tried rt3 recovery cd can/ van.
I don't recall if started to update from van variant.

Can I flash a complete version? To be like factory?

The RT4 X7 is CAN - CAN.

It should not of accepted a different version, but Citroen specifically state not to use an incorrect firmware version.

If it won't flash from the correct version (8.31) then there's nothing I can do unfortunately.

I updated with the version from pm that you give me.
Same result. (- that version already flashed)
Invalid configuration, and after some starts, black screen.

The rt4 I think that eat the battery waking up the car.
