Hello all! I would like some advice please from anyone with experience concerning the BSI and potential wiring faults.
My 2013 208 1.0 ZMZ petrol has all the symptoms above. This is at least partly down to no compression on one cylinder! That much I do know but here is my concern...
I also have the fault codes below so I am worried that the no compression issue is just the tip of the iceberg. I don't want to go down the route of stripping the engine down and repairing it to find out I have even more issues lying in wait..
Engine ecu:
P0228
P0223
P2132
P2685
U1218 intermittent
BSI:
U1802
B1418
B1805
U1F0E intermittent
U1F1B intermittent
B1816 intermittent
U1F40 intermittent
ESP:
U1208
EPS:
P0562
C1644
As you can see there is a lot going on! My concern is there is a BSI or wiring fault on top of my no compression issue. Could anyone possibly confirm that or say if it is all just likely linked to the compression issue. I am open to any information or suggestions.
I have tried multiple BSI resets and charging the battery. On the BSI reset, I never got the 'bong' as I have seen described in some when turning on the side lights. I have also try a replacement throttle pedal.
Regarding the general functions of electrics, most things seem to work as they should except the drivers window only goes up in stages and the fan kicks in on full as soon as the engine starts and remains on for a few minutes after the ignition is turned off.
Thanks for reading and any information or wisdom would by greatly appreciated!

Which engine is this? Presumably the later Puretech...

Update on this..
The no compression was a burnt out/broken exhaust valve. Seems to be common on these engines from what I have found out.
So new valve and all back together...start it up...all the previous issues are still there, every single light on the dash. Wonderful.
Not sure what is next.

Re: 208 1.0 hard to start, running lumpy, no throttle response and fan running at full speed! SOLVED!....sort of
For anyone coming across this in future, the issue with no throttle response turned out to be....knackered throttle body motor.
With this replaced, the engine runs, there is throttle response and no fan running at full speed.
All the other codes have cleared and not come back.
Attached is a picture of the exhaust valve
