Hi all,
Apologies in advance if this has been already discussed.
It is Peugeot 3008 2019 2.0l bluehdi 130kW.
I had warning message on the dashboard "engine fault" together with "adblue" light. On Diagbox I can se 3 faults- P208E 71, P20A2 21, P20E8 21.
1st one refers to jammed injector ( see attached pictures) and the other 2 to pressure of the system. I deleted them, went for a spin and all good , no warning messages. Connected it again to Diagbox and I saw P20A2 21 and P20E8 21 faults again. I assume that first fault triggers the warning light on dashboard. I ran an actuator test and tested the injector, pump and pressure and all shows no issues. I can even hear the noise of the pump and injector. I read on the forums that injector can be clean or changed relevantly easy buy have no idea how to proceed with the other 2 faults regarding the pressure. Some people advice to start with changing the tank cap.
If anyone have any experience with this and can share some of it would be much appreciated.
I am planning to travel across Europe in 2 weeks and the last thing I want is to get that message in the middle of my journey and have a countdown with 500 miles left.
Thanks in advance

Re: Adblue fault
Are you using any anti-crystallisation additives? If not, I suggest you get some in there now and top the tank up. Wynne's is good - this will help get rid of any crystallisation that has built up and keep it free in future. It may take some time to work through though.
The injector can block quite easily and this will cause a pressure fault in turn.

Thanks for your reply, GiveMeABreak
No, I am not using any additives. I have never come across with Adblue system before.
Do you think is worth cleaning ( or changing) the injector or first I shall give a try to that additive?
As I said my only concern is that I have to travel soon.
Thanks

Re: Adblue fault
Well it's not going to help with further driving with the issue you have - it will likely only compound the problem. The dealer will charge you £120 diagnostic before they do any investigation. I would treat the vehicle now with some Wynne's and get that in whilst topping the tank up and let that circulate and get to work.
The countdown will only appear when it thinks the Adblue tank is low - which won't be to do with the blockage. You'll either have to get someone to check the injector area for crystallisation and clean it out if necessary. If it's in the tank, then not a lot you can do now except try the additive.

Yeah, I have already order that additive and will give it a try. If I have time will check for crystallisation around the injector as well.
Thanks for the advice.

***update***
Hi all, quick update from me.
I ordered a new injection and changed it. Drove it for a few days and there was no warning lights on the dashboard. Yesterday I contacted Diagbox and saw that the faults were gone by themselves. Also went for a spin with live data on Diagbox. The pressure of the additive was 5.8bars and when the injector operate it dropped to 5.1 bar( see attached photos). Is that the correct pressure of the system? I suppose in that case that pump is not dead.
I added Wynn's additive for Adblue as well. Will drive it for a week and then will check for faults on Diagbox again.

Re: Adblue fault
That pressure seems about right. It was likely the UREA injector was blocked. Keep using the Wynne's regularly when you top up and hopefully it will work its way round and help prevent further issues.

New update
On my way through Europe in middle of Germany I stopped to refuel and after start the engine the fault came back again with the count down timer. Same fault codes- actuator jammed and low pressure. I have My laptop with me, so cleared the faults and re initialised the system. Checked on live data pressure was 5.4bars.
I really don't understand what is wrong with that system.
I just hope it will get me to my destination

Re: Adblue fault
Did you notice what the pressure was at the time of the fault? As long as you have the laptop you can go on re-setting the faults and will get another 700 miles to get you home. You need to watch the live data as the system warms up. Should be 4 bar initially, then go to 6 in the pressurising phase, and then drop back to 5-5.5 as it starts to inject. If the fault is intermittent you may not catch it of course... my guess would be the pump or the pressure sensor is failing occasionally.

Re: Adblue fault
Unfortunately, I did not notice what the pressure was , because I stopped after 60 miles and then reset it.
Before I take the road I was checking it for 2 weeks and it was working as you were saying- 5.8 bars when start engine and when exhaust get the temperature it start injecting adblue and the pressure drops to 5.2-5.5bars.
Is there any chance tha car to stop before the counter gets to 0, while I am driving for example?
Thanks for your help

No, the engine won't stop, you just can't re-start it once the countdown has reached 0.

Hi, Were you able to fix the problem? I have exactly the same errors...
