Remember they days when TV adverts were clever subtle witty and to the point?
It seems the advert makers have lost the plot, now fill the screens with junkies doing a frenzied version of Sydenham Chorea.

OK, so here's a challenge for the FCF faithful - what advertising slogans can you remember off the top of your head ? Don't wait to compile a complete list, just post as you remember.
I'll start the ball rolling....
Liquid Engineering
The mild cigar
Grace, space and pace
Plink plink fizz
Too orangey for crows
The car in front is a Toyota

The car in front is........

Looking back.....both were interesting but much maligned buildings, and both have now been demolished.

'Takes Your Breath Away..' Peugeot 405. 'The Lion Goes From Strength To Strength'...
For me, one of the best adverts ever and one of the best cars I ever had too
Berlin's soundtrack to the ad and the dramatic burning field made it all just awesome...
This from a person who hates ads with a passion and will do all I can to avoid them. So, for me, no commercial TV, radio or Internet websites that carry adverts.

Hardly ever see an advert, never watch commercial TV and have adblockers on all Intertube thingys.
With the notable exception of one a few days ago for 'oily glue' that looked interesting and may be of interest to you. Will expand on that when it arrives. The only advert that I have responded to in decades.
