Can anyone help me what the five wires on the EGR plug should be reading with the ignition on and the car not running or how to test them. Thank you

VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] firstly thank you for replying .it is a five wire conection and i would like to know what wires should read unconnected then connected or where i may get a service sheet for egr its a pierburg.its not just about bolting a knew one on i would like to test everything along the way if possible.ive watched many videos and loadsa googling but cannot find information i want.befrore removing the launch machine i used says egr valve open cycle ratio was -4.6 . when i striped egr off and took motor off motor would be jerky and when built up of the car but plugged in didnt seem to move the valve at all ,again i appreciate your help cheers
