Ecu replacement

Unread post by Reggie78 »

Hi

I have very limited knowledge and hoping someone here can provide me support and direct me in the right direction

I have recently had ecu fried on my citroen relay 2.2 euro 5

Trying to find an exact match to the old ecu i was only able to find one that had the same

SID No
H/W number

The S/W was different

I've had the ecu virginised and demobilised however we are unable to code the injector codes in

Is this due to the software not being the same on the virginised ecu as it is on the old ecu?

I am getting the following codes since installing the ecu

P0671 pre-post heating glow plug of cylinder 1
P119B injector 1 classification error : problem code IIC
P119D injector 3 classification error : problem code IIC
P119E injector 4 classification error : problem code IIC
P119C injector 2 classification error : problem code IIC
P062c vehicle speed limitation

Can anyone offer any advice please 🙏

What tool are you using to code the injectors?
On diagbox there is an option to code all 4 injectors at the one time or they can be programmed individually. There was a glitch in v9. Something that would not allow you to program the 4 injectors at one time however it worked fine if you done each one individually.

Thank you for your reply

I know it Wasn't diagbox but the guy who attempted for me isn't around now to ask what software he was using 🙈

Will this be the only option to programme them in using diagbox

Does the difference in software code from original ecu to new ecu cause any issues?

Thanks
