Fault Codes - Not sure if I should Worry

Unread post by Sloppysod »

Further to my post viewtopic.php?t=76166

As summary from earlier post, I was on holiday in the West of Scotland (1,900 miles trip in total).
I started my car, drove down steep incline, auto gearbox in 1st so as not to keep foot on brake all the time, then slipped box into drive, pulled onto main road, reached about 25mph and service light & Repair needed warning message appeared. After about 5 restart message & service never came on again.

Finally managed to get the car attached to my Diagbox Laptop (as other things were more important)!!

C1555 - Fault-electric parking brake activation / deactivation control, Characterisation of the fault short circuit to earth or short circuit to positive
P2032 - Particle emission filter temperature sensor, Characterisation of the fault short circuit to earth
U1219 - Fault automatic release of the electric parking brake, Characterisation of the fault Data Invalid
U1118 - Intersystems Can, Characterisation of the fault No Communication with built-in Systems Interface
U1218 - Intersystems Can, Characterisation of the fault One of the parameters present in a data stream sent by the BSI is invalid
U1209 - Intersystems Can, Characterisation of the fault One of the parameters present in a data stream sent by the Gearbox is invalid

Since then car has not shown any signs of a problem, about 500 miles, (includes about 300 on motorways). Apart from the mileage counter resetting itself about 50 mile after starting off after an overnight stop.

A couple of days after the light service light went off, I went unintentional, "off road" a bit, single track road that turned into dirt track with grass down the middle, heard the grass brushing underside of the car #-o

Before I went on this trip I fitted a step down transformer to the car to give me 3 USB ports to charge various devices, connected to fuse viewtopic.php?t=76018. Not sure when but while I was away I see an error message "Gearbox fault" , I pulled this connection as soon as I could, after the error message appeared as the transformers were using gearbox fuse (F4)

To me it looks like a false signal was sent through Can-bus system, but not sure where from. 😏

Edited: - Replaced Attachment, Some Fault codes no longer relevant.
