407sw engine off but powersteering working?

Hi all new to forum,I have owned my 407 now for 7 years and always been able to sort the many problems.
However this time I can't.
So it starts with the esp light then abs then airbags then tyre pressure then steering then dash goes dead.Engine still running but no gear change.
Once turned off then back on the engine doesn't turn especially lights up and power steering pump whirls.????

It needs diagnosing with Diagbox to be honest. There seems to be too much going on there, probably electrical. Some models have electro pumps for the power steering and these work off the battery, so no surprise that this is working if it has been activated for some reason.

You could have a fuse box issue or a BSI issue or some other electrical problem, so hence we would need the fault codes after a diagnostic.

Yes my cheap diagnostic tool won't work,so hopefully Monday Mr airbag man can diagnose it properly. Thanks
