Which BSI fuel gauge "law" is used for an all-CAN C2?

Unread post by napping »

Does anyone know which fuel gauge "law" to use for a 2006 Petrol C2?
The background is this ...
I've just fitted a replacement BSI and, after lots of configuring, all seems to be working fine. However, the fuel gauge wasn't displaying and when I checked the BSI the fuel gauge "law" wasn't present - so I took a punt and set it to "Law 01" and the fuel gauge is now displaying. I'm not so sure "Law 01" is the right setting as it seems to be registering a lower fuel level than expected and. Perhaps I got lucky and selected the most appropriate setting first time :-)

For C2 petrol engines the fuel sender alert level needs to be set to 6. This is the level in litres when the fuel reserve warning lights up.

Marc, you legend! That explains why the gauge was low but the fuel warning light hadn't come on. Thanks :-)
