2015 Peugeot Expert 2.0hdi Accelerator Pedal not responding.

Unread post by ImNoExpert »

Hi everyone, I have an ongoing issue that may have several parts to the solution, meaning I may have several unrelated issues. Van has 180k on it.

Main notable point is Losing Power (Boost?), Erratic Rythmic Idle that can stop if you turn the steering wheel for instance, intermittent No Response from accelerator pedal for about 1 inch of travel, lots of white smoke at Start up that clears, Slow Cranking Speed, but fires right away (about 5 times in 8 months it's turned over quickly but not fired until key off and try again). Only possible hints using a FAP app were Turbo Position Sensor and Low Rail Pressure while starting.

At times if feels as though the van is being retarded and held back. Sometimes (usually in lower gears and rev ranges) it boost incredibly well, but as the gears and revs increase performance slows. It's takes around 18 seconds to get to 60mph where I'm expecting around 13 seconds (when I bought it it took 25 seconds :O) It's had a new turbo, Clutch, EGR, Throttle Body, MAF/MAP, Crankcase/Shaft sensor, Fuel Filter all within 20k miles.

Diagbox showing DPF blocked by Ash at 93%, but pressures seem within tolerance. 10mbar at idle, 270 at 4000rpm?

No Oil leaks or Fuel leaks.

I personally think it's an injector or intermittent failing sensor or solenoid, or vac leak under load.

No EML, or Fault Codes using Diagbox 7.76

I'll pay handsomely if anyone can sort it :D
