Hi all
I purchased my ds3 crossback 69 plate in September.
I have checked online on the DS website and the car is due a firmware update.
The previous owner must not have been aware that it needed this.
I have asked what it is for but they were unable to tell me at the call centre.
My car is booked in for the update next week.
Does anyone know what this update could be for?
Many thanks

Re: Firmware Update
If it is an 'After-Sales' campaign update, then only the dealership can advise you of what it is as they generally don't like to make this public.
If it's a Head Unit update for the telematics system, then you can download and update this yourself for free, otherwise they will likely charge you labour to sit in the car and wait for it to install.

Re: Firmware Update
Thank you.
I think it must be an after-sales update.
I have downloaded the DS app and there is an update available for the satnav which I can download and do it myself.
However, this must be different from the update that I am taking the car in for.

Re: Firmware Update
Yes that will likely be an engine ECU update most likely.
