4 speaker radio CD player that came with the car and working ( apart from not liking some cd's ) untill it refused to work.

Power lead to unit ok, I inserted a cd, and it ejected it electrically.

It just does not want to power up as if the screen had died.

It's fuse is all good.

Wrong code problem it is not.

Any ideas ?

Any common faults on this unit ?

Help greatly appreciated.

It may just be that the unit has died - I've seen a few for sale for about £90+

Thanks gmab, sorry for double/triple post, didn't see reply untill just now...

So unit probably died, so no harm if I "go into it" , can't break it twice !

No worries - I don't think you have anything to loose at this point - unless you want to try and get it repaired. The trouble may be finding someone who can get parts for it now though.
