RT6 to Android Joying Unit

The RT6 on our 2012 C5 has died and I was thinking of replacing it with this Android unit https://www.joyingauto.com/joying-andro ... -wifi.html

I am aware that it was easily installed in another C5, but I understand the factory Philips amp (in the boot) of our car would cause problems. Has anyone overcome this problem? Install aftermarket amp instead?
