DS5 touchscreen software update

Hello there,
I have a question about updating DS5 touchscreen software.
Using DS Update tool with my VIN number I get two updates - navigation maps (version 23.0.0) and touchscreen software (version 7.3.1).
Updated car navigation maps with no problem.
When I try to update touchscreen software it gives me message "Version not compatible with the hardware". Current software version on touchscreen 7.0.2 (checked on system info).
Tried several USB sticks and manually download files from Citroën navigation update site, nothing helps. Any advice ?

Hi

I'm not sure which system you have, but it may not be the Connected NAV. You may gave a SMEG system. Do you have your VIN handy so I can check?

The Wave 1 version of Connected NAV (NAC) has only one available firmware listed (7.3.1-r1), so was probably the only and last update for this system.

The latest map version is as you say 23.0.0.

If you have a Wave 1 NAC unit, it may be limited to the firmware version you already have. SO I would leave it as long as everything works.

Hi,
I'm also not sure which system I have :) But would be nice to know if it is updateable, or not. Because there is one annoying bug, that I hope update would fix. Bluetooth connection does not sync all contacts from iphone (sometimes it does but never contacts added to Contacts favorites), carplay works fine.
My VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. If it's SMEG, I will leave as it is.

Ok, so it's likely to be the earliest available Digital Connected NAVC (NAC) so a Wave 1 version which was fitted towards the end of production of this model. So in your case, if the firmware won't install. I suggest you contact Citroen, show them that the update is available via the App and then tell them the message you get. As I mentioned, there was only one firmware update released for this early Wave 1 unit post factory and that is the one recommended.

I would possibly try and download it again and make sure your USB drive is FAT32 Formatted. If it fails again, take a screenshot with your camera and sow it to the dealer.

minrusi, did you upgraded your touchscreen? I have the same problem, with the same versions. I was at my dealer, but they did nothing. They proposed to replace the whole unit.
