Re: C5 X7
Do you mean voice guidance? If so you have probably told her to shut up. You'll need to activate voice guidance or if it is on, check the volume level specifically for it.
You can either wait until a voice guidance instruction is being spoken and then press the volume increase button on the steering wheel, or go into the configuration menu and change the volume there.

I have never actually heard it speak Mark, it took me a long time to find out how to work it and in all that time I haven't heard a thing. How do I find the configuration menu? the older I get the more stupid.

Hi Peter
Assuming that your Sat Nav is similar to mine then this is how it works ( just gone and checked on mine )
Once Sat Nav has started up above all your stored destinations should be Navigation Menu, select that menu.
At the bottom of the next list you select Settings.
The next menu will have at the top Navigation Volume, select that and you can set the volume from 0-30.
If you have not set a destination it will be saying Navigation not Active so you can hear what the volume levels are as you change them. You change the volume level in the menu by rotating the dial that you press to select each menu.
Hope that helps
Colin

Re: C5 X7
Peter has an RT4 system Colin - completely different in operation and interface to your MyWay.
Peter - press the MENU button on the RT4 and then navigate to the Configuration Menu (should be the last one on the right side) and from in there, you can set up various options, including the voice control and volume levels.
