Hello guys, as in the title my radio suddenly stopped working. I can connect via bluetooth and take calls but thats it. I was at a citroen shop and they tested everything and said that the power delivery and everything else was fine and that the radio is ok, but the radio wont turn on.
Did someone have similar problems?

Re: Citroen C5 radio wont turn on
You haven't said which C5 you have - I'm assuming an X7 MK III from 2008 on? ALso what Audio system do you have? RD4 with Hands free, RD45, MyWay (RNEG), eMyWay (RT6), Navidrive 3D (NG4), SMEG etc etc.....?
If you're not sure, stick your VIN up here (automatically masked on sibmission) and I can look it up.

Re: Citroen C5 radio wont turn on
Ok, so is the screen displaying anything or is that blank? The Multifunction 'C' Display Screens on these units have an ECU itself that does the configuration for the Head Unit - so that's the reason I'm asking if there is anything on the display.
A Diagnostic with Diagbox is probably going to be needed to determine what the problem is - as that can provide live data on the buttons - so you can see if the head unit is receiving signals from the buttons. It should also bring up an error codes.
Try the BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure first of all and make sure you follow the timings properly and DON'T open any doors whilst waiting for the time to pass - otherwise it will wake up the ECUs again and the whole procedure will have to be repeated. It's free and doesn't cost anything to try this in case there is a glitch in the ECU - especially if the battery has been disconnected recently or run low on power.

Re: Citroen C5 radio wont turn on
The little screen above the radio is working, and i can access the settings from my steering wheel like changig the date and bluetooth settings. I was at a Citroen dealer and they've said that they used their diagnostic tools and that everything should be working because it didn't found any problem.
Im going to try that reset method.

Yes, the BSi reset can clear glitches (in the same way that a reboot of a PC can clear them), but if there is an actual problem it won't clear that (saying that, the fact that Citroen with their diagnostics did not find a problem is good news). Do make sure to follow the procedure properly, as it does allow the various ECUs to shut down properly and then to boot back up cleanly.

Another thump?
I think you may have a loose connection possibly, so check the pins and wiring in the blocks.
