Re: Solid day today!
So, decent dry weekend, more progress. The engine spins over nicely(no plugs) and the new fuel pump and filter(and wiring) seem quite capable of filling up an old bottle of Rose....
The new Helix clutch seems to work as does the newly made clutch cable
I’m learning that although the wiring on an injected CX looks unbelievably complicated and impenetrable it’s actually fairly simple, I’m staring to wonder what a lot of it actually does!
I should have the new engine loom and ECU in a couple of weeks so that’s more old wiring to go.
I have new Bosch EV 14 injectors to go on.
With no heater tower and associated gubbins it’s actually not too bad to work on.
Once all the back and top of the engine stuff is done, it’s onto the big stuff at the front, new turbo, new larger core radiator, etc, etc.....
I’ll try and put a few pics up this week...
