new impressed member

A forum for new members to introduce themselves to the rabble already onboard. Not compulsory!
Tell us a little about yourself, lie if you have to but keep it to just an introduction, not a car discussion.

Hello everyone.

I recently bought a Citroen C5 2010 1,6HDI, and got in trouble right away :-D (broken diesel injector and now need to code the new one, occasionally faulty electro-hydraulic power steering pump, locked Webasto-heater,...).

I'm more familiar with old school car technology (pre BUS-era (CAN etc)). This forum has already proved to be a very good source for information and help, when trying to learn to live with these modern (?) cars (bloody computer networks on four wheels #-o ). Hence I decided to join, and also start participating with a little donation.
Next thing to do is learn a bit more about Lexia-clone related things, before buying one.

Yours,
Fin50

Welcome to the forum Fin - is that your name as well as an abbreviation of your country?

Good luck with sorting out your problems. The 1.6 injectors are known to be a bit troublesome but there is plenty of help and guidance here.

Hi Fin and :welc:
You have made one great decision already, joining the FCF :-D
As Paul says you will find all the help you need on here in the technical sections and when you are fed up with the issues take a break and browse the Off Topic Chat Lounge where you will find many amusements and some great chaps to share them with. Join in whatever takes your fancy. If you particularly like or appreciate any particular post click on the little heart top right to show the poster he is doing something right!! :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
