Hi folks!
I'm Chris and I was a VAGaholic until it dawned on me that with Australia's crap roads demanded French cars....
Still keeping my VAG stuff for old-time's sake, but since buying a 205 SI a few years ago and realising what a great car it is, a 205 DTurbo followed and then a BX19 TGD auto was procured to use in England when I'm over there (about 3 months per year).
The rot has set in with the recent purchase of a Xantia V6, which I am bringing up to scratch as a daily driver.
Metung is a quaint little drinking village with a sailing problem on the Gippsland Lakes in Eastern Victoria. Always happy to hear from fellow sufferers and pass on the small amount of wisdom that I might have gained.
Cheers, Chris

Welcome to the Forum.
The Xantia V6 can be a great daily driver. I am on my 4th (plus an XM ES9 with manual transmission). I tend to prefer the 1997 to the later ones, What year is yours?

Hi Chris and
to the forum. Have a good look round from the board index above and join in wherever you fancy. They are a great bunch on here always full of advice (not necessarily useful of course
) and we come up with some good stuff in the off topic lounge Cheers

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Some aspects of the forum are part of an initiative test to prepare you for getting the hang of a Xantia V6
Chris, interesting you suggest they're great daily drivers, as I thought the general view was that Xantias weren't - although that's not my view, after the 1st year of ownership.
