Safrane TD Tuning

I want to improve the bottom end accelleration on my 1997 phase II
2.2TD Renault Safrane. I`m using redex diesel addative with good results and have installed a green free flow air filter.As no manual
is avalable for the car I don`t know if its a mechanical diesel pump
or electronically controlled there is a managment system I don`t know
if it controls the pump. I want to increase the pump delivery rate and increase boost atlow revs if possible. Any advice will be appreciated.

I found some info on tuning a Pug 306 written by a man called John,
thanks for writing the article.I have turned up the boost compensator
one full turn so far I`ll see how it goes on the motorway tommorow

following the Puegot Citroen and General links of this forum
I`ve got hold of several pictures/diagrams of Bosch Diesel pumps.
At first I was turning The Boost Compensator Anticlockwise but it
was raising the screw and the diaphram so I`ve reversed it and it
is now 2 full turns clockwise pressing the Diaphram and tapered delivery cam downwards combined with shortening the accelerator
cable, I got a small brass plumbing fitting and 5cm of central
heating pipe wich has taken a great deal of slack out of the cable
Iàm pleased with the better response at low revs and I haven`t turned
up the Pump Delivery Rate yet.
