I have a 2006 MK2 Mégane maxim, 1.5 DCI 86bhp, 135k miles on the clock. Over the past few weeks I have noticed a tapping/rattling noise coming from the engine. This noise occurs in the moment of applying throttle and releasing throttle (In the moment the engine is not under load from acceleration or deacceleration ) it is also noticeable when holding the rpm around 1800 rpm however it does not make the nose on idle. It is more prominent when the engine is cold and does reduce when warm.
Is this a common issue?, are there any fixes if I should be worried about it?

Without hearing it I would say an faulty injector is likely.
