Not to sure how long this took me as was in no rush, Marc not to sure if you know the estimated time Citroen would give?

Thanks for posting that Chef - was that your video? It's a swine of a job and not for the faint hearted. I just hope you can now resolve the issues with repair / replacement / programming.

Hi, yes my video, my mums car. Sorry for the late reply, didnt see any notifications. Still got a video coming of it going back together. Apart from that I really could do with some torque setting for the;
/ Central Slave Cylinder, appears they have had loctite on,
/ Pressure plate bolts, reuse?
/ Bell housing bolts,
and the suspension nuts and bolts, i think i can get most of the suspension torque settings from the haynes manual i brought, haynes have cut down on their books, so had to use a generic C4 manual. I'm guessing they are the same, but just want to check as it's a different weight class. So for this,,
/ Wheel bearing nut,
/ sub frame bolts,
/ steering rack nuts,
/ control arms,
/ steering joints,
/ roll bar,
Theres possible a few more, and if there is any thats torque to sheer obviously i could do with replacements.
Thank you Marc.

Re: C4GP EGS Gearbox removal (video)
Leave it with me - just got back from town where the dipped beam bulb went on the other C3 and I've had to give up on changing the bu**er - near impossible to release the bloody stupid retaining clip and no room to get your hand in! I think it would of been easier to attempt what you're doing that changing a bloody bulb on a C3!
I'll get some torque settings for your shortly.

Re: C4GP EGS Gearbox removal (video)
Sorry just a little more advice, the torque on the steering rack to sub frame, should be two nuts and there is also a engine mount, drivers side bottom to subframe.
Also does it suggest to put the car back together before bleeding and resetting the EGS? I would assume so as it would need to know where the biting point is?
Regards
(i think that is it, lol)

As for Depressurising / Pressurising & Bleeding:
1. Depressurizing the system
1. Depressurizing the system
- Connect the diagnostic equipment to the vehicle’s diagnostic socket.
- Switch on the ignition.
- Using the diagnostic tool : Select : Depressurisation of the hydraulic circuit.
- All the oil contained in the electrohydraulic actuator unit and in the pressure accumulator returns to the piloting actuator hydraulic reservoir.
- The piloting actuator hydraulic circuit is no longer pressurised.
- Connect the diagnostic equipment to the vehicle’s diagnostic socket.
- Switch on the ignition.
- Using the diagnostic equipment : Select : Pressurising the hydraulic circuit.
- The electric motor of the electrohydraulic actuator unit operates for a few seconds.
- The piloting actuator hydraulic circuit is pressurised.
- Connect the diagnostic equipment to the vehicle’s diagnostic socket.
- Switch on the ignition.
- Select: In the diagnostic tool menu :
- The vehicle
- The RPO no.
- Perform the global test.
- Using the diagnostic equipment: Select: Bleeding the hydraulic circuit.
- The diagnostic tool pressurises the piloting actuator hydraulic circuit, changing through all the gears in order to force air out of the circuit.

Re: C4GP EGS Gearbox removal (video)
Marc you are a legend!!!!
I take it all this is done when the car is put back together on four wheels? Also once these 3 steps are completed is there anything else like reprogramming the biting point or is this all done automatically?
Regards

Re: C4GP EGS Gearbox removal (video)
Note you will need an external power supply to get it to program, battery charger or jump it off another (running) car. There might be a clutch adjustment in Diagbox, otherwise just pull away hard a few times.

I know what you mean Marc, disliked the Renault Clip, hoping this one will be a little easier on the brain.
Thank you Richard, will be picking your brain no doubt.
