Just joined this forum as it seems to have a lot of active members.
I used to be a Ford man my last car was a Ford Mondeo TDCI 130 Ghia 2005. Was a nice car to drive plenty of pull lots of features. Never Thought id own a Peugeot.
But the Mondeo had a few minor issues, climate control wouldn't go onto front screen, electric heated front screen doesn't work, injectors failing. All fixable, until the clutch slave cylinder decided to fail, then it was time to change. 246000 miles, just over 100000 added by me, so id like to think I got my moneys worth.
So I started looking at other cars, and this time decided to look at other makes,
Mondeos, to expensive, unless high mileage
Kia's Scare me as I know nothing about them and there's not much online, plus diagnostics is difficult for the home user
Not interested in Japanese cars.
So I looked at French cars, my dad has a 3008, my partner has a 3007, both nice cars. So I decided, right a 407. So after loads of research and studying I chose a Peugeot 407 Sport SW 2.2HDI. Very impressed, comfortable, lots of features, nice to drive, and quick.
So ive joined this forum so i can learn more.

Hi and welcome. Good reasoning in choosing the replacement car - support and documentation is everything, unless you have a really deep pocket.
