Laguna Creaky Steering

Hi
I have a 94 Laguna 2.0 RT. Over the last couple of weeks, when turning the wheel, there is a loud creaking noise coming from somewhere. It doesnt matter which way i turn the wheel. I have checked the power steering fluid reservoir and it is full. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be ?

with the amount of salt put on the roads lately it may be one of the strut bearings has dried out try a little wd40 just at the bottom of the spring seat

We are also having the same problem. Our reservoir remained full because we think there was an air pocket somewhere along the tubing.
