Renault Megane MK1 Engine Cooling Fan Help

Good evening folks, I recently purchase a Renault Megane MK1 2001 the only known fault is the engine fan not kicking in when it should do. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem could be? Could it be a faulty fuse or engine temperature sensor? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Does the car have A/C?

No the car does not have Air Con, just heaters. Got a few days off work so will be having a look at the fuses underneath the steering wheel, could it be something as simple as a bust fuse causing the fan not to work? Sorry if this question is stupid but im clueless when it comes to cars but want to learn about them

Not in anyway do I know your car, but I suspect the Engine Fan fuses are more likely in the Engine bay fuse box ?

If a fuse has blown in a high amp circuit then there normally is a reason.
When you say "not kicking in when is should"....does it come on at all or do you think it is taking to long ?
