Laguna II ESP warning light on dash

Laguna II ESP warning light on dash

Hi All

I have a Laguna II 3.0V6 which has failed its MOT on a bottom ball joint

I have replaced the ball joint and all went OK, however since I have done so the "Check ESP" warning is on in the dashboard

Since the ball joint was changed the steering wheel was slightly further round to the left than normal when driving in a straight line

Making the obvious conclussion---Altered steering components, need to get tracking checked/adjusted.

I have had this done and the steering is now straight, but I still have the "Check ESP" up on the dash

Needless to say the garage wont pass the re-test on the MOT until it's sorted #-o :(

Anybody got any ideas?

hi mike just a thought have you tried disconnecting the battery for 10 mins and see if it resets itself

Check and clean the ABS sensor !
