Captur 2014 tdci Full Beam and Wiper problems

I'm posting on behalf of a friend who is experiencing strange electrical problems with her Captur. She lives hours away from her main dealer in Edinburgh, days infact, (in Shetland) so when the dealer had the car for a service and couldn't reproduce the fault he said she must be imagining it..not very helpful.. So I'm posting on here hoping that some knowlegable person might be able to help or even give a pointer to where the problem may lie.

Right, biggest problem is that after about 20- 30 mins of driving the full beam headlights will not come on.. the only way to get them to work again is to stop and restart the engine (a soft reset?) As you can imagine driving on island single track roads, the lack of full beam is really annoying.
The second problem is more intermittent but equally as mystifying.. Occasionally the wipers will just start up at full speed and will continue until the stop and restart is done,
Does anyone have any ideas?

Its a Renault they have bulkhead water drain problems like the flaps either side the water run offs so the water in the case of some Renaults runs over and into the fuse /relay box cut the flaps off and then it lets the water drain out , check the headlight relay unit ,depending on your skill sets ,

Oh Renault computer controled wipers it could be p$$$$ing down and i have to shout at the computer to wipe the screen then it goes into turbo mode read the handbook and take it off the auto wipe and the auto headlights setting these things have to many chip circuits and options then they are either built in spain or France !

Thanks ferkemall, 2years later she has sold the Captur and moved away from Shetland .
