Renault 5 1986 - How to remove hatch/tailgate + cables

Hi

The hatchback / tailgate / bootlid, or whatever you want to call it, needs changing as it's bent.

There are a number of wires inside, for the wiper motor, heated screen and number plate lamps.

At the top, each side, the cables (in a black sleeve) go inside the car. Is there a plug behind the rear panels, or do I have to take all of the wires out of the tailgate and try to thread them into the new one?
