Always have. I record all the details in a spreadsheet.

Yes but's the resetting of the two trips at the same time I don't understand.

I won't bother with the stats as for my last two C5s (MK II 138 2.0 HDi) and the current C5 X7 (140 2.0 HDi) the MPG has been the same for both over the the last 8 years or so in rural West Wales, steep hills, windy, twisty country roads, little to no motorways or dual carriageways, chip covered roads. I think you get the picture:
42.8 MPG
42.8 MPG

28 km/hr = 17.4 mph
8.1 l / 100km = 34.8 mpg

Ah, that's what I do. I thought you meant that you reset Trip 1 and Trip 2 on the mpg displays at the same time.

Only have the two trip meters, one on the speedo, one in the central display.

You're right. I'd forgotten that the Mk1 only had one. And I had a Mk1 for 10 years!

First post in this thread. Here’s my mpg over the last few thousand miles. It’s a 2.2 twin turbo HDi VTX+ Which doesn’t appear to be the best on fuel, but it’s pokey so I’ve come to accept it!

Don't think we are going to see 60mpg over 5000miles.
Will start a new thread over 2000 miles (about 3 full tanks for most of us )

It's a slow process as I don't cover that many miles but I'm passed the 4000mile mark. Maybe by Christmas I'll have it

You really must be living in the salt flats of Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia to get that mileage Mike

Odd thing is Marc, I'm struggling to get over 60mpg in the C3.
