07 Plate Scenic headlight help

Hi All,

I've been asked to change the headlight bulb on my sister-in-law's 07 plate Scenic...



Is it a bumper off job? I haven't had a chance to look, this is tomorrow afternoon's task....

I suspect it's not going to be as straightforward as reaching behind the headlight and removing the bulb, is it?

Now, I get the full tale.

It had a duff headlight (nearside). They'd taken it to Halfords, had the bulb changed, and taken it for MOT, where it failed on the N/S headlight.

My task, therefore, was to fix the nearside headlight.

Missing cover over the back of the main bulb, broken clip, bulb working, but hanging loose at the back, just dangling below the headlight. Bits to fix it back in all missing.

Halfords = Sh1te

Seeing as sis-in-law has the receipt for the fitting and the MOT fail certificate, I've sent her back to Halfords. I can probably find the bits from a breaker, but that's just shocking quality of work.

I could *just* get my hands between the battery and the slam panel to the back of the headlight. Just.
