2002 Clio 1.2 clutch problem

My daughter's Clio was SORNed for about 9 months & we have just got it back on the road, passed MOT with no problems. However the clutch is slipping in wet conditions. I can't see any problems with the cable. Is this likely to be something to do with being laid up for all that time or just a worn out clutch?

may well be that the pressure plate has partially seized so it doesn't grip properly. Probably best to change it, because it's never going to be right. Comparitively cheap job to get done, take you best part of a day to do yourself.

We have now had a new clutch fitted by our local excellent garage. Now my daughter keeps stalling it!
