the fuel gauge on my 1999 scenic 1.9dti started to intermittantly fail then after a few days it has ceased to operate completely.
the low fuel light on the dash is lit constantly now.
does anyone have any ideas ?
could it be the tank sender unit or a electronic fault ?

Removed Fuel Tank sender unit and this appears to be working,
so it would seem to be faulty either dash consile or electronics
anyone any thoughts
ps
to access fuel tank sender unit
* remove rear seats
* remove cubby hatches
* lift carpet
and you will find a rubber bung
remove this and the sender is underneath
this may save you some considerable time searching like me
