scenic electronic handbrake....

hi,
I have just purchased a cheap 04 plate 1.4 scenic........there are a few issues,nothing really major,on the dash when I picked it up this morning,there were messages saying check airbag and check parking brake......got it home and I plugged in my little basic code reader, it showed one fault, I cleared the fault and that got rid of the airbag message....the check parking brake one still exists,though no fault codes are showing and the parking brake is working fine......would this be an mot fail?? mot'd till feb next year so not worried yet,but just wonder if it would fail? doesn't say parking brake fault as they sometimes do,just check parking brake?? anybody know how I get rid of this?? thanks...........(without an expensive trip to the garage) cheers..........

Not sure about the MOT. There is a switch on the clutch may need checking.
How is the car? On fuel? They have about 100bhp on 1.4 ?

it's an 04 plate,1.4 petrol.....I put on a new post now that may be worth reading, involving the warning going then coming back??
